Winter White Sample Sale Recap (Dec 2016)

Sample sales continue to be my absolute favorite events. 

 

Fabulous Variety Found at our Fabulous Fall Sale

A few weeks ago, we had our Fabulous Fall Sample Sale and it was really fabulous! It's been a few Sample Sales since we've done a recap, so I thought another celebration of sample sales was overdue. We had a great turnout, tons of excited brides, and beautiful gowns that went home for an amazing price. From straps and sleeves to satin and lace, our Fabulous Fall Sample Sale had it all... see for yourself!

STRAPS! And not just any straps. Straps with lace, straps with tulle, straps with beads... the brides who ended up with these gowns are sure to look beautiful, feel sexy, and have the comfort and support of straps they desire.

LOOK AT THAT BACK! Low backs, illusion backs, all of it is just so stunning. Definitely worth it for your audience as you are saying your I Do's.

SLEEVES! Classy and elegant... need I say more?

SATIN! Lace isn't your thing? No worries. Lace gowns didn't speak to the brides that bought these gorgeous satin gowns either.

As you can see, samples sales at Ellie's Bridal Boutique really do have it all. The gowns shown above are just some that went home with happy brides, but there are still plenty more (we're drowning in gorgeous gowns!). Next sample sale will be December 4-6 and people are already making appointments!

When Sample Sales Meet Alterations

She found the dress of her dreams, and even had to try it on "just to see." Of course, she fell in love even more. She loved everything about it: the lace, the color, the quality and fit, even the little "eyelashes" of the scalloped lace trim were a detail she couldn't live without. Devastated that the price tag was over $4,000, and certainly over her budget, we had to find another solution. Welcome, sample gowns with great savings to save the day!

2014 Winter White Sample Sale EXTENDED

Our Winter White Sample Sale was such a wonderful success, Ellie has decided to extend it until Thursday. March 13, 2014!!

Sample Sales: Disarming Doubts

Despite popular belief, there is NO such thing as “too big.” With our custom alterations, we’ll make your gown look like it was made just for you. We even have a few tricks up our sleeves to make a gown a couple sizes bigger, too. Our fantastic Alterations team took Ruth’s sample size 12 down to about a size 6!! We were so glad to see she felt comfortable enough for some good old-fashioned bed jumping for her post-ceremony celebration.

Want to make design changes? No problem, our in house alterations department are experts on customizing wedding gowns. Our magic-making Alterations team was able to turn Denise’s strapless sample gown into a form-fitting stunner with detachable straps to fit the mood for both her Catholic ceremony and party-all-night reception!

Out With the Old, In With the New

New York International Bridal Week

Now that things are finally calming down from the bustling excitement of last weekend's Back to Savings Sample Sale, we want to show you just what all the fuss was about from our end.

Brides are not the only ones shopping for wedding gowns year-round. In fact, bridal salons are required to purchase bridal gowns twice a year: every Spring and Fall season. And trust me, just once a year is more than enough to keep our inventory quite alive. If you have visited before, you know exactly what we mean. We simply have too many wedding dresses. The solution? You guessed it: sample sale.

We love sample sales because they are a win-win for brides-to-be and bridal salons. Not only do you get the opportunity get great deals on gorgeous gowns, but it allows us to clear the racks in preparation for the next season. This is also why our sample sales also include gowns that have been in our boutique for less than a full season - we simply don't have enough space!
